What is the Cardless Bills Payment Facility (CBPF)?
The CBPF is a feature available in our full-function ATMs which allows bills payment even without the use of an ATM Card. By just pressing the ENTER key on the numeric keypad, the payor can perform cardless bills payment.
Who are allowed to use this facility?
Anybody is allowed to use this facility - depositors and non-depositors of SBC or other banks, with or without ATM Cards. This is also available to either actual payors or their representatives.
How do I perform cardless bills payment?
The CBPF is a user-friendly and menu driven transaction. Details of the payment are requested in a sequence of steps and options are presented for the payor to choose at each step. Below is a brief summary of the steps to be followed:
 Prepare the CBPF Envelope
Simply press the ENTER key in the numeric keypad and the CBPF Menu will be activated
Select Merchant Type
:: Credit Cards
:: Loans
:: Telephone / Telecoms
Select Merchant
Key-in Account Number / Subscriber Number / Policy Number / Reference Number
Select Cash or Check
Key-in amount to be paid (for cash payments this should be in multiples of P10)
Key-in contact number (7-digit landline number or 11-digit cellphone number) Note: repetitive numbers like 0000000, 11111111111, 2222222, 33333333333 are not allowed.
How will my transaction be processed?
Every banking day at 9am, branch clearing cut-off time and 3pm, the ATM will be checked for any CBPF transaction. Similar to ATM Deposits, the envelopes will be opened by 2 branch personnel and subject to final verification. In case of discrepancy, the contact numbers on the envelope will be used to call the client and inform him/her of the discrepancy for resolution.
Cardless Bills Payment Transactions verified will be posted by the branch teller as a regular OTC bills payment transaction.
How do I know if my transaction has been processed?
Similar to other banks’ bills payment machine, if there are no discrepancies in your cardless ATM bills payment, the transaction will be posted by the branch via OTC bills payment and will be reflected in your next statement of account.
Should there be discrepancies noted in your transaction, the branch concerned will contact you the same day your cardless bills payment envelope was opened.
Is this facility available 24/7?
YES, this facility can be availed of 24/7 provided the ATM is online.
Do all SBC ATMs offer this facility?
We have 59 ATMs capable of CBPF to date.
Is the CBPF available in OFFSITE ATMs?
NO, because there is no branch to service the payments at 9am, 12nn and 3pm.
