Security Bank and One Network Bank forges stronger
partnership with Remit-Agad local remittance tie-up

Security Bank Corporation (SBC) and One Network Bank (ONB) forges a business partnership to better serve the banking needs of the growing customers and commercial clients in response to the rapid growth and industrial development in the Mindanao region.

Security Bank, as one of the country’s leading universal banks complements One Network Bank’s strong presence as one of the largest rural banks in the entire Mindanao area. This strategic alliance was formalized in a memorandum of agreement that allows for local remittance service aptly named “Remit-Agad” to and from any of the nationwide branches of Security Bank and the 75 branches of ONB in Mindanao. The synergy spurs economic development by expanding the range and geographic reach of Security Bank to address the banking requirements of businesses, commercial establishments and personal wealth management of the emerging affluent market in Mindanao. Likewise, residents of Mindanao have a secure, fast, and affordable means to remit money through Security Bank’s branches located in key cities and major economic centers all over the country.
