Security Bank’s Secure Rewards Promotion (“promo”) is a 2-in-1 promo combining a Rewards Promo and a Raffle Promo which will run from July 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008 (“promo period”)

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The promo is open to all new and existing Security Bank Corporation (SBC) individual/joint accountholders of participating products.

2. Participating accounts: Peso Savings-Passbook, Peso Savings-ATM, Peso Checking-Regular, CheckOne, CheckRight, All-in-One Checking Account & US Dollar Savings; Auto Loans (raffle only)

3. To be eligible to redeem a reward item and/or win in the raffle, the client’s participating accounts must be in good standing -- still open; not dormant, escheated, litigated, under garnishment or on hold for any reason at the time of redemption and must have met the minimum balance requirement of the account/s in the month prior to redemption. For Auto Loans, the account should be in good standing, i.e., no past due for more than 60 days and should not be paid off during the promo period.

4. All prizes are tax paid and transferable but are not convertible to cash. Unclaimed prizes 60 days after the date the mail notification is received will be forfeited in favor of Security Bank, with prior approval of DTI.

5. All board of directors, officers and employees of Security Bank, its subsidiaries, its advertising agency which directly had a hand in this promotion and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join in the promo.

6. In case of disputes, decisions made by SBC with the concurrence of DTI will be deemed final and irrevocable.

REWARDS PROMOTION

7. To qualify, the sum of the Month-to-Date Average Daily Balances (MTD ADBs) of the participating accounts of a client should have an average increase of at least P 300,000 and this increase should be maintained for a minimum of one (1) month. The higher the average increase and/or the longer it stays in the Bank within the promo period, the bigger the reward item.

a) The increase refers to the difference between the MTD ADB for each of the months from July 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008 and the client’s June 2008 MTD ADB. Note: MTD ADB is the ADB for a full calendar month regardless of when the account was opened in the month (i.e., divisor is 30 or 31 days)
b) The average increase refers to the sum of each month’s incremental ADB divided by the number of months the promo has been running.

8. Depending on the average increase & number of month/s the increase was maintained, client can choose his/her reward from the tables as follows:

* Tour packages are valid for six (6) months upon claim date and cannot be availed of on traditional peak period: Christmas, New Year and Holy Week;
* GCs worth P500 and below have a 1-year validity period; P600 and up are valid until fully consumed

9. A reward may be claimed after the client meets the required amount and number of months. A qualified client may redeem a reward item for a maximum of 6 times (i.e., monthly redemption for the increase maintained for 1 month). He/she will be informed by the branch via telephone that he/she may redeem a reward item and shall be advised to visit the branch to fill out the Redemption Form.

10. Reward items (except Airline Miles and gift certificates below P1,000 in value) shall be delivered to the client’s billing address, unless indicated in the Redemption Form that it is for pick-up at Abenson’s or Automatic Centre branches. For gift certificates less than P1,000, the client can pick up the GC from his/her branch of account. For tour packages, Metro Manila winners shall claim the Travel Voucher from Marketing Division, 4/F, Security Bank Centre, 6776 Ayala Avenue, Makati City while Provincial winners shall claim from their branch of account.

11. For delivery of redeemed items, please allow 3 weeks for Metro Manila billing addresses and 4 weeks for provincial billing addresses.

12. For redemptions through pick-up at designated Abenson’s or Automatic Centre branches, a Claim Voucher will be delivered via courier to the client. Claiming will only be allowed before the expiry date indicated in the Claim Voucher.

13. At the end of the promo period, a registered mail will be sent to clients who did not claim their reward. Reward items must be redeemed within 60 days from date of receipt of the mail notification. After said period, all items that remained unclaimed shall be forfeited in favor of Security Bank with prior approval from DTI.

14. All redemptions may not be cancelled or returned. If item is defective, the client shall request for exchange or replacement within 48 hours from receipt of the item. After said period, the client may make a claim on the basis of the item’s warranty.

15. In case of joint accountholders, the item may be claimed by only one (1) party provided the other accountholders sign in the Redemption Form and the claimant brings photocopies of valid IDs of the other party/ies.

RAFFLE PROMOTION

16. To qualify:
Checking/Savings Accounts: Every P100,000 MTD ADB (or 2,000 USD) maintained during the promo period is equivalent to one (1) raffle entry. A fraction thereof shall not constitute for a raffle entry.

Illustration: 

Auto Loans: At least P800,000 amount financed and booked within the promo period entitles the client to two (2) raffle entries. A fraction thereof shall not constitute for a raffle entry.

17. The Grand Prize to be raffled off is a Business Class 14-day/13-night Tour for 2 to Eastern Europe inclusive of hotel accommodations & transfers, city tour arrangement with tour guides and 1,000 USD pocket money.

18. Raffle Draw will be on 14 January 2009, 4:00 PM at 4/F, Marketing Division, Security Bank Centre, 6776 Ayala Avenue, Makati City.

19. The winner will be notified through registered mail and by his/her branch of account. He/she should agree to have his/her name, address and/or photo included in the winners’ advertisement and other related materials without requiring additional compensation from SBC.

20. The raffle prize (Travel Voucher) shall be claimed from 4/F, Marketing Division, Security Bank Centre, 6776 Ayala Avenue, Makati City. The Travel Voucher is valid for six (6) months from date of claim. The winner shall shoulder all other expenses emerging from the claim of prize (e.g., securing of travel documents, terminal fees, etc.).

21. To claim the prize, the winner must present the registered mail, two (2) valid IDs and signed and notarized winner’s undertaking. If the winner authorizes a representative to claim the prize, the authorized representative shall present the original copy of the Registered Mail, one (1) valid ID and photocopy of the client’s valid ID, original copy of authorization letter and signed and notarized winner’s undertaking.

22. In case the winner has co-depositors (joint account), any one from the account may claim the Travel Voucher. He/she must bring a notarized affidavit that he/she is the one authorized to claim the prize and photocopies of one (1) valid ID of the other party/ies.
